Client: Evergreen Education Group
Challenge: Blue Marble Creative was hired to design a template to be used in laying out nine case studies that reported on schools using Fuel Education online curriculum and platforms as the foundation of their online and blended learning programs. A visually interesting look was desired, and photos, sidebars, quotes, tables, and other graphic elements were used to accomplish this. The case studies varied in length from three to seven pages and were published both independently and compiled as a collection. Each case study contained different elements, but all needed to have a consistent look.
Process: Creating a template with consistent elements, but that still allowed for variation was key. My role as graphic designer at BMC was to work with the creative director in designing the base template, and then layout the individual report's content using the developed styles and components to best effect. I also created graphs, tables, and other graphic elements as needed for each case study.
